My philosophy and approach to patient care
Patients today have many choices when it comes to their healthcare. I appreciate every patient who comes to see me for giving me the opportunity to try to help improve their life in a positive way.
I always try to acknowledge that the patients I see are people with joint pain and dysfunction. I do not view patients as simply knees and shoulders that hurt.
Most importantly, I tell my patients that I treat people, not X-ray images or MRI reports, and I do not recommend surgery unless I am confident that I can significantly reduce their pain and improve their ability to function.
I look forward to helping you return to the activities that enrich your life.

Before you decide … do your homework!
I encourage my patients to research their condition and understand the options that may be available. Ask questions and be fully informed about what is expected of you before and after surgery to ensure the best possible outcome.
A very reliable source of information is www.orthoinfo.org. Click here and select the ‘body part’ that applies to you to begin your education.
I look forward to answering all of your tough questions!
